Cataract Surgery

This year over 3 million cataract surgeries will be performed in the US. and other 20 million worldwide. It is the most common surgery performed and is highly successful.

The cataract is removed and a new intraocular lens (10L) is implanted through a tiny incision. Here at Long Vision Center we offer the most advanced treatment options for cataract surgery as well as Premium implant options. Both of our surgeons here at Long Vision Center perform suture-less cataract surgery which promotes a shorter recovery time and less restrictions after surgery. During your evaluation your doctor will recommend a speci๏ฌc treatment and implant option to meet your speci๏ฌc visual needs.

Premium Packages

Astigmatism Package

Astigmatism is an eye condition that causes blurred or double vision due to an irregularly shaped cornea. Instead of having a round shape like a basketball, the surface of the cornea if more like a football. As a result, the eye is unable to focus light rays correctly on the retina causing vision to be out of focus without glasses or contacts. During cataract surgery astigmatism can be corrected with a Premium Astigmatism Correcting IOL. Not all patients have astigmatism but if you do, rest assured there is a special implant to help your vision.

These Premium IOLโ€™s are designed to reduce or completely eliminate your need for glasses. Patients that choose this package are glasses-free for over 95% of their visual activities including driving, playing golf, reading, and computer work.
