Oscar Villafane, O.D.
Dr. Villafane joined our practice in 2013 as a Therapeutic Optometrist. He received his undergraduate degree in Biological Science from Florida State University and his Doctor of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry. He is licensed as a Therapeutic Optometrist and has his Optometric Glaucoma Specialist license for the state of Texas.
Dr. V as he is affectionately known is passionate about volunteer work. He has participated in the See to Succeed Back to School Vision Program giving free eye exams to children in middle and high school. He has provided vision screenings for the Special Olympics, as well as numerous hospital volunteer and back to school programs. Dr. Villafane lives in McKinney with his wife Kim and their two daughters.ย They love to travel, ski and do DIY projects together.
