Cataracts

A cataract affects the lens of the eye and occurs as part of the natural aging process. The natural lens in your eye becomes cloudy from natural proteins that build up over time. As the condition progresses, the clouded lens allows less light to pass through your eye and your vision becomes blurred making it difficult to drive, watch T.V., read and lots of other daily activities. People can experience glare, halos around lights, poor night vision as well as general blurred vision. We understand the frustration cataracts can cause and are committed to providing the most advanced treatment & implant options for our patients.

Cataracts currently affect more than 20 million Americans over age 40. By age 65, over 90% of people in the US will develop cataracts. Ifyou are having difficulty with your vision give our office a call to be checked for cataracts or other eye conditions.
